How Dropbox Can Organize Your Life

Dropbox is one of those applications that comes along and makes me think “Wow, how did I live without that!” For everyone who has ever emailed a file to yourself, carried around a flash drive so you had it in more than one place or just ever wished you had your files with you, Dropbox is the answer to your dilemma.

By installing Dropbox on your computer(s) you are able have a select folder on your machine that will synchronize to the cloud. Once you have done that, you may install Dropbox on any other machine you have and access those same files. You can even install Dropbox on your Apple iOS or Android device. This will allow you access to your files anywhere you have an Internet connection. On any device (computer, smartphone, tablet) depending on what programs you have installed, you can open, edit, print, email and save these documents. What could be better or more easy than that!

No more different versions on different machines or having to carry around files on a flash drive that can be lost, stolen or forgotten. All your files, synchronized, everywhere you are!

For REALTORS this means that any presentation, contract or spreadsheet you are working on at home you will be able to save and pick right up working on that document when you get to the office. Better yet, using your iPad you can make changes, save or email that document while you are waiting for your meal to be served at Denny’s (that is, if you like Denny’s)!
